Wanda June Lott

1934 ∼ 2026

Wanda June Lott

Our dear Wanda Lott, born on August 18, 1934, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2026, in Groves, Texas, at Magnolia Manor. Wanda, a longtime resident of Nederland, Texas, lived a life filled with love, family, and cherished moments.

Wanda graduated from Pasadena High School and went on to earn her legal secretary degree, dedicating her skills to several attorneys in Southeast Texas. She was a familiar and beloved face in Nederland for many years and a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church in Nederland. Wanda found immense joy in spending her summers at her farm in Groveton, Texas, a place where she created countless memories. She had a passion for playing the piano, sewing beautiful creations, tackling challenging puzzles, and, most importantly, cooking delicious meals for her family. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored taking on weekly outings.

Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Aubrey and Beulah Bunch; her devoted husband, Raymond Lott; her dear daughter, Julie Leonard; and her brother, Gary Bunch.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her daughters, Carolyn Franks and her husband, Robert; and Susan Gore and her husband, Rod. Wanda was a cherished grandmother to Angela Knowles and her husband, Matt; RC Franks, Jr. and his spouse, Ranelle; Jennifer Wilson and her husband, John; and Jason Tanner. Her great-grandchildren, Ashton Knowles Authement and her husband, Scott; Austin Knowles; Jase Franks; Reid Franks; Griffin Guidry; and Seth Wilson, will forever hold her in their hearts. She was also blessed with a great-great-grandson, Carter James Authement.

Our family extends a special thank you to Sabine Heights Nursing Home, Magnolia Manor Nursing Home, and Heart to Heart Hospice for their compassionate care.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, Texas followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will take place at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas.
