In Loving Memory of Tad Wayne Juvenois Sr.
Tad Wayne Juvenois Sr. of Nederland, Tx a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, at the age of 63 in Houston, Tx. He was born on October 4, 1962, to Joseph Juvenois and Kathryn Josephine Achten in Beaumont, Tx.
For 22 years, Tad shared his life with his beloved wife, Elizabeth Juvenois. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, memories, and the everyday moments that become the most treasured ones. Elizabeth was his partner, his companion, and the person by his side through so many chapters of his life.
Tad was a man who believed in showing up. He was someone you could always count on—no matter what, no matter when, and no matter the circumstances. If you needed him, he was there. That was simply who Tad was.
For those fortunate enough to know him, Tad’s love was found in the little things. He had his own routines and particular ways of doing things, and those familiar habits became a cherished part of what made him so special. He had a natural gift for making people feel like they belonged. Once you were part of Tad’s life, you were family, and he loved his people deeply and loyally.
An outdoorsman at heart, Tad found peace and simple pleasure in fishing and spending a quiet day on the water. And if you knew Tad, you knew his favorite color was blue—a small detail that became unmistakably and affectionately his trademark.
Tad was a man of dedication and service in every area of his life. He proudly served four years in the United States Air Force and later built a long, respected career with JT Thorpe Company, dedicating 32 years to a profession defined by the same loyalty, dependability, and perseverance he showed everyone he loved. That same steady heart guided his spiritual journey. In the past few years, Tad made one of the most meaningful decisions of his life when he gave his heart to Christ. His faith became a deeply personal and anchoring part of his daily walk, bringing him profound comfort, hope, and peace, and leaving his family deeply grateful for the promise of eternal life.
Tad’s greatest legacy will not be measured in years of service, but in the lives he touched. He was a father in every sense of the word. He deeply loved his son, Wayne Juvenois, as well as his stepchildren, Justin and Amanda, whom he welcomed into his heart as his own. He was a steady presence, a source of unwavering support, and a dad who ensured the people he loved knew they were never alone.
Tad is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Elizabeth Juvenois; his mother Kathryn Josephine Achten; his son, Wayne Juvenois and his wife, Jessica; stepson Justin Champagne and his wife, Shelbie; and stepdaughter Amanda Larsen and her husband, Christopher. He was a proud grandfather—lovingly known as “Paw Paw” and “Pop”—to
Katherine Larsen, Eleanor Champagne, CJ Larsen, and Jude Champagne. He is also survived by his sister, Jannell Leblanc, and brother, Lynn Juvenois and his wife, Bonnie.
Tad leaves behind a family who will miss his presence, his familiar routines, his stories, and all of the little things that made him who he was. Elizabeth, his children, grandchildren, siblings, and all those who loved him will carry the memories of the life they shared with him and the love he gave so freely in his own way.
There will be empty places where he once stood, quiet moments when someone instinctively reaches for the phone to call him, and countless memories that will bring both tears and smiles.
His family will carry forward the lessons he taught simply by being himself: that love means showing up, that family means standing beside one another, and that the greatest gift you can give is making sure someone knows they can always count on you.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at LaBrie Claybar Funeral Home, located at 1155 N. 11th Street, Beaumont, Texas. A celebration of Tad’s life will follow on Friday at 2:00 PM at the same location. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches.
Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Champagne, Phillip Jones, Lynn Juvenois, Wayne Juvenois, Drew Montes, and Kurt Riley.
In honor of Tad’s favorite color and everything that made him uniquely and wonderfully himself, the family would love for those who wish to do so to wear blue as a special way of remembering and celebrating him. While certainly not required, wearing blue would be a beautiful tribute to him.

You showed up. You stood by your people. You loved in your own way. And you will never be forgotten.
