Patricia Ann Doyle Landry

1943 – 2026

Patricia Ann Doyle Landry passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026, at the age of 83. A native of Port Arthur, Texas, she was born to the late Julius and Eva Doyle.

Pat graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1961. Following her marriage to her beloved husband, Joseph "Pete" Landry, she moved to Nederland, Texas, where she built a beautiful life centered around family, faith, and community. Pat dedicated thirty years of her life to shaping young minds as a teacher at Hillcrest Elementary School before her retirement. She was also a deeply devoted and active parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Eva Doyle; her loving husband, Joseph Pete Landry; and her cherished son, Jeff Landry.

Pat’s memory will be kept alive by her surviving children, Jodie George and her husband John, and Jennifer Landry Hale; her daughter-in-law, Lisa Landry; and her adored grandchildren, Jacob, Vivian, Joshua, Jacob, and Rosalie. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David and Nancy Landry, and Richard and Cheryl Landry, along with many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

The family will greet friends on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, located at 5200 39th St., Groves, TX.

A Rosary will be prayed at 1:30 PM, followed immediately by a Funeral Mass at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, located at 211 Hardy Ave., Nederland, TX. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, TX.

The Landry family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all of their friends and neighbors for their loving care, support, and prayers during this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Landry's name to the Alzheimer's Association at ALZ.org or to the Retired Priest Fund of the Diocese of Beaumont.
