Deborah Kay Hall

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deborah Hall, who departed this life on August 27, 2026, in Orange, Texas. Born on December 2, 1952, in Port Arthur, Texas, Deborah dedicated her life to nurturing young minds as a beloved school teacher and principal, and cherished her family above all.

Deborah's professional life was a testament to her unwavering commitment to children. As a devoted school teacher and principal at Trinity Baptist Christian, she poured many years of loving service into the lives of her students. Her spirit of service extended to the community, where she volunteered with the Eagle's Nest after-school program at First Baptist Church in Groves and diligently arranged the weekly Deacon's meetings at her church.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Deborah embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. She was an avid fan of the Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboys, cheering them on with passion. Her heart swelled with love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immense happiness into her life. Deborah also found comfort and delight in listening to The Gaithers and country music, and she never missed an episode of Dancing with the Stars.

Deborah leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory, her sons, Joshua Hall of Nederland, and Shawn Hall and his wife, Heather of Orange; and her daughter, Mary Kay Andress of Orange; grandchildren, Mariah Kay Reinders and her husband, Dustin, Marin Kayla Andress, Malori LaRae Andress, Chryssy Lynn Gregg and her fiancé, Chase Reynolds, Dillon Dwayne Gregg, Rachel Hall, Kaleb Hall, Elliot Hall, and Emmi Hall, great-grandchildren, Wrenlee Reynolds, Khyreaux Harvey, Bleu Guillory, and Kalaysia Lov Andress; brothers, Jim King and his wife, Corey of Missouri City, Texas, Dale King and his loving wife Susan of Zebulon, North Carolina, and Gary Lynn King and his wife, Pam of Kennard, Texas. She has 2 loving dogs Dixie and Ebony. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Mary Lou King.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Accent Care Home Health and Hospice for the loving care they provided.

A gathering of family and friends to honor Deborah's life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 10:00am to 11:00am, with a Celebration of Life service immediately following. Both events will be held at First Baptist Church of Orange, 7637 Martin Luther King Junior Drive, Orange, Texas 77632. The family kindly requests that attendees, if possible to please wear their Houston Astros or Dallas Cowboys gear to the service, if they in tribute to Deborah's enduring team spirit.
