Obituary

Dale Lynn Bonin, a man who embraced life with open arms and a warm spirit, passed away peacefully, on October 5, 2026. He was born on November 21, 1969, in Orange, Texas.
Dale found joy in the great outdoors, whether he was traveling to new places, camping under the stars, or spending time at the beach. He cherished every moment spent with his family, and his love for sports, horses, music, good food, and good company was evident to all who knew him. Dale had a knack for connecting with people and treasured his many friendships he made throughout his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Stephanie Bonin; his daughter, Brittany Bonin; his son, Cade Bonin; his grandson, Carter Camacho; his mother, Carol Bonin; and his sister, Misty Richard and brother-in-law, Ronnie Richard. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, Charles and Ouida Thomas; sister-in-law, Angela Thomas; and brother-in-law, Darren Thomas; and his nieces and nephews, Madison Baker, Lane Evans, Kane Smith, Justin Doland, Ashley Doucet, Zach Thomas and Jacob Thomas, along with many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Dale was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Bonin.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 10, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Orange, Texas. Officiating will be Reverend Barry Bradley. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.

Visitation time will be held before the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 10, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Orange, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Cade Bonin, Madison Baker, Justin Doland, Lane Evans, Zach Thomas, Jacob Thomas, and Kane Smith.
